| 241 Oberon St, Coogee. This is the place I lived in the whole year. First semester was in the room on the lower left, second semester was in the basement, accessible from stairs on the right hand side. |
The boat made for the recent remake of Mutiny on the Bounty. It's not actually that big of a boat. Not a lot of room to run and hide. |
A good view of the sydney skyline, taken from the bird show exhibit at the Sydney Zoo. |
Beautiful Coogee Beach. The rocky outcropping in the distance is a good place to sit and watch the sun come up after a night of drinking. |

| Another view of Coogee Beach. My house is just off the left hand side of the picture- It was a five minute walk down the hill to this beach. |
A photo of waves taken by Elke. |
Camels in the outback, as well as one of the flood stage indicators- When it rains out here, it really rains, and apparently everything gets all muddy. I'll have to go back there at one point when its really raining. |
A picture of an elephant in front of the Sydney skyline. |

| Me in front of the sidewalk the runs along Coogee, with my trusty Akubra. |
This is a photo taken on the left hand side of Coogee- if you turn the camera around, and walk down a hill, you'll fall off a cliff into the ocean. |
Look! UNSW! This is the entrance on upper campus. |
Elec Eng- At UNSW Elec eng and ECE are in separate departments, like it used to be here at U of I. Elec Eng also holds the school of PV and their labs. |

| The main walk, mech end on the left, the Red Center in the back- That holds the international offices, math department, and built environment. |
Home sweet home first semester- This photo was taken standing on the bed. I paid $150.00 per week for this. You can get much cheaper if you decide not to live by the beach. |
A good idea- Solar Sailor. Built by a bunch of guys, some of whom I ended up taking classes with, its now a party boat for rent. Really quiet. The top solar panels actually work as sails in the wind. |
Looking at Sydney from the northern end of the North head- The ocean is behind us. There's a zoo over here, as well as a lot of parks, and some really nice little beaches. Never got a chance to snorkel around there. |

| Lousy photo, but this is the view off the back porch- The photo of the cliff with my head in it is taken from the second rocky outcropping in this picture. |
The Ritz Cinema. I spent a lot of money seeing movies here- Been operating since 1927, recently renovated. Nice theatre. In the Spot, it is shares an intersection with a bunch of good restaurants and coffee places. |
Another shot of the Ritz. |
While working on Falsettos, I got to know the Newtown train station very well- There was a train driver shortage at one point, so they would often cancel the last train of the night. I got pretty good at finding random strangers to share cab fair with back home. |
